Can anyone reccomend a Romance novel for English class?

I have to choose a romance novel to read, and i'm not really into the genre so i don't know any good books. By romance i mean a hero on a quest, like the story of king Arthur, etc. Can anyone tell me of a few good books w/ a short desc.?
